Bromobutyl Stoppers
Bromobutyl Stoppers are also called Bromobutyl Rubber Stoppers and Bromobutyl Plugs, which are commonly used to seal medicine vials and bottles for low permeability to gases and liquids, good resistance to chemicals, weathering and ozone, etc, also known as Pharmaceutical Stoppers.
Bromobutyl Stoppers are made of Bromobutyl Rubber material. As a kind of halogenated butyl rubber, Bromobutyl Stoppers also have excellent resistance to weathering, ozone, and hot air; very good resistance to acidic and basic chemicals; very low permeability to gases and liquids; very good rheological properties, which can keep harmful substance from pharmaceutical.
Compared to butyl rubber, Bromobutyl Rubber has a enhanced adhesion and faster cures.

Bromobutyl Stoppers and chlorobutyl rubbrers stoppers are both commonly used in medicine vials and bottles sealing. Compared with chlorobutyl rubbrers stoppers, Bromobutyl Rubber Stoppers have advantages and disadvantages as following:
Bromobutyl Stoppers- advantages:
a. Better stability and longer life span
b. More available vulcanization systems and higher cleanliness
Like polyamine vulcanization, during vulcanization process, It can avoid existence of harmful substance, such as sulfur (accelerant containing sulfur) and zinc oxide, ensuring higher cleanliness of stoppers and then reducing pollution and side-effects on pharmaceutical.

a. There exist a terrible smell during high temperature sterilization.

b. There is a greater influence in Hemolysis experiment
