Bromobutyl Plug
Bromobutyl Plug are also called Bromobutyl Rubber Stoppers and Bromobutyl Stopper, which are commonly used to seal medicine vials and bottles for low permeability to gases and liquids, good resistance to chemicals, weathering and ozone, etc, also known as Pharmaceutical Plugs.
Bromobutyl Plugs are made of Bromobutyl Rubber material. As a kind of halogenated butyl rubber, Bromobutyl Plugs also have excellent resistance to weathering, ozone, and hot air; very good resistance to acidic and basic chemicals; very low permeability to gases and liquids; very good rheological properties, which can keep harmful substance from pharmaceutical.
Compared to butyl rubber, Bromobutyl Rubber has a enhanced adhesion and faster cures.

Bromobutyl Plugs and chlorobutyl rubbrers Plugs are both commonly used in medicine vials and bottles sealing. Compared with chlorobutyl rubbrers stoppers, Bromobutyl Rubber Stoppers have advantages and disadvantages as following:

b. More available vulcanization systems and higher cleanliness

b. There is a greater influence in Hemolysis experiment
