Polyurethane PU Suspension Bushing occupies an important place in auto industry. Such as suspension system, gear stick with a manual transmission, and high-speed inline internal combustion engines. The Silicone Rubber Bushing serves as the Damper to absorb the noise and vibration.
For example, during high-load conditions (cornering and braking), when the polyurethane suspension can minimize the transmission of noise and vibrations from the chassis, which is favorable to vehicle's handling.

Silicone Bushing is a protective the part and also called damper bushing or bumper bushing for cutting noise and vibration. In moving vehicle, the bushing would wear out after long-time friction between shaft and hole, so we need to replace the connected parts. The designer chooses the low-hardness and anti-abrasive materials for shaft bushing in case that can reduce the abrasion between shaft and housing. Compared with replacement of the whole part, replacing the bushing is easier and at low cost. Besides, replacing the whole component will reduce the precision of the equipment because secondary processing doesn’t guarantee the hole center location.
