EPDM Seal

EPDM Seal, also known as EPDM Rubber Seal, EPDM Rubber Gasket and EPDM Washers, is made of EPDM compound material(commonly black color), which has superior resistance to Ozone,water and steam making it the best choice for long term UV exposure and outdoor sealing applications.

EPDM Seal is usually manufactured by compression molding, rubber injection molding and die cut tool. 

EPDM Seal has good resistance to weather, ozone, water, chemicals, which can be used for alcoholic & carbonylic components, sealing under high temperature steam environment, bathroom equipment, auto radiator & braking systems. However, EPDM Rubber Seal is not recommended for food application or exposure to mineral oil. 

EPDM Seal has excellent anti-oxidation,anti-ozone and anti-erosion.

EPDM Seal has the lowest density in all rubbers, which can be able to absorb a lot of fillings & oils while has little effect on EPDM properties. Therefore, EPDM rubber seal usually is made into low-cost rubber compounds.

EPDM Seal saturated main polymer chain: resistance to heat, light, oxygen, especially ozone.

Therefore, EPDM Seal can be widely used various fields, like auto parts, waterproof materials for building industry, wire & cable sleeve, heat-resistant rubber tube, rubber belt, automobile sealing gasket, and so on. 

EPDM seal  can be in long-term operation under 150℃, which has good characteristics of resistance to heat, aging, weather resistance, excellent electrical insulation properties, good chemical resistance and impact elasticity.
